Anyway, it turns out they give out "re-entry passes" so I could go out with confidence and watch Big Bang Theory and then get back to room 20 in plenty of time to watch more Stargate in the leadup to Joss.
Which reminds me, who can loan me various early seasons of Stargate?
So I watched the Big Bang Theory Panel... and the Sheldon and Penny were sitting awful close to each other :) Pics later. They were lots of fun; turns out the guy who plays Rajesh can't talk to women in real life either (ok, I'm guessing he was exaggerating here, but still...) Adam from Mythbusters moderated the panel.
At one point the Sheldon actor demonstrated the limit of his science knowledge by saying he recently learned that when you have a glass of ice water, the temperature doesn't go up until all the ice melts. "It sounds weird, can that be true?" The audience confirmed it for him.
Hm, what else happened there... sounds like Sara Gilbert will be back this season. And it sounds like I really really need to see the season finale of season 1. DVDs will be on sale later this year (September maybe? It's all a blur, I'm writing this a couple days later.)
Back to Stargate, caught the tail of SG-1 (where Richard Dean Anderson was hilarious), and the full Stargate Worlds panel (I wonder if this MMO will be interesting. Maybe...), and the Stargate: Atlantis panel. I'm not big fans of these shows but they were still fun sessions. And staying there meant I kept my good seat for the Joss Whedon panel at 1.
Next up: Joss Whedon.
