Maybe it's time to start thinking about reviving my Eberron game. The dust kicked up by life is starting to settle down again.

You often talk about how there is too much gaming in your life. If one of your games petered out naturally, maybe you should take this as an opportunity to have less gaming in your life.

Not that I really know what I'm talking about here, but it is something you've mentioned before.

I'm in
Those every-other-Wednesdays are still open in my schedule. Rek's ready to smash things whenever he starts getting targets again.

I'll want a review of what has been going on. I have a feeling that there are details which have slipped away. It's also an opportunity for the players to remind you of the things they are interested in.

My suggestions:
1. A five minute conversation with each player pre-game, reminding them of the private things you think important and where they remind you of the same.
2. If you're losing Andy, and bringing someone in, don't worry too much. If it were me running the game, I would try to give both a bonding combat and a reason to trust the person.

If that person has no reason to know the entire group background, we can have some interesting conversations on the road which will form a combination new-player-briefing and old-player-reminder. Not to mention gm-reminder for more public events.

it better not cut into jamming! i suppose we've given up on finding regular times for wow grouping... though i still like the idea.
