The Shoveler

Ok, the first pass is done. At least it'll be easier to do the second pass later, between 3 and 4.

If we had milk in the house, this would totally be time to make some Cream of Wheat. It'd be a great day to collect people in a park somewhere and have a big ol' snowball fight. Come inside from that, have some hot chocolate, and get all warmed up again. Set it up, knock it down.

I think I'll stay inside instead.

Hail, fellow shoveler!

I don't really think it's good snowball snow. At least, not yet, it isn't. Too poofy.

Great for cross-country skiing, though. =)

Speaking of skiing...
You know, I used to think all cross-country skiing happened in these huge, flat fields.

Imagine my surprise when told recently that no, there are actual hills and whatnot involved as well, and that (gasp) you have to ski up them before you can ski down them!

So, those downhill skiiers are really ski-wusses, is that right?

We have milk, but you're probably past your cream of wheat cravings by now.

You *do* keep an emergency stock of hot chocolate, right?

(I'm off to shovel now myself.)
