Ok, ok, I get it.

Air Conditioner. Tomorrow. Check.

I wonder if this would have happened if I had checked the necessary windows elsewhere in the house were open before going to sleep. I suspect that would not have made a difference, though.

A shower seems to have made a difference though. Let's see if sleep comes back now.

(And let's see if a quick successful search through iTunes kills this song virus I've had for 32 hours or so now...)

If it's any help I was up at this time, too. Too much good chocolate too close to bed and the compressor on our a/c didn't kick in when I went to sleep, so I spent a while in the bedroom getting hotter and hotter. I finally straightened everything out when I went to bed.

Ironically tonight will probably be easy sleeping, but if you do want an a/c you should get it sooner (while stores still have them) rather than later.

Yeah, it was really really hot in NYC last night too. However, ceiling fan plus freestanding fan plus open window seems to have made it OK, so I think I'll evade air conditioner ownership for another summer.

Of course, the temperature is steadily dropping today, and it'll be in the sixties all week.

At least your building isn't randomly turning on the heat, a couple of my friends have that problem this year...
