ah, Star Wars

a worthy middle to the saga thing.

If you still have yet to go see it, make sure to get seated a little early. They started the trailers at least five minutes early on us today, and every single one of them was amazing. It's such a good year to be a fan, with so much goodness coming to the screen. There has never been a more perfect lead-in to a sci-fi movie.

Oh, and to S: Mr. and Mrs. Smith looks like a definite winner.

Every single trailer was amazing? Did they show you a trailer for "Stealth?"

Yeah, popcorn action flick with predictable storyline and amazing special effects. How is this not perfect for showing right before Episode 3?

I mean... come on, it's Jaws, but with an airplane instead of a shark!

Fair enough.

I guess I've gotten too cynical. I'm psyched for Batman Begins and Fantastic Four, but I doubt I'll need any Stealth, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, or Pink Panther. (The best quote I've seen on the upcoming Pink Panther film was in Fametracker's 10 Least Essential Summer Films, 2005: "The pitch: Sure, Peter Sellers was okay -- but personally, I thought his performance was a little too heavy on the genius."

Steve Martin is the one guy I trust enough that if he says "hey, I can do this," I will believe he can do it... And I enjoyed the trailer.

Maybe I was too hyped up on the context of the event, though. I should keep that in mind.

Woah. There's an airplane sneaking around eating people?

Mr. and Mrs. Smith looks like a definite winner.

Is that at all related to the 1941 Hitchcock film?

Egad, no.
