Well, guess I have to start watching Stargate: Atlantis. Stargate has figured out the key to success; hire the cast of better sci-fi that has gone off the air and get the fans of those shows to want to see those people succeed.
I have a long list of movies that I need to see, either in theaters or about to be... I should write them down, so I don't forget. This is also what Netflix queues are about. Sin City, Hitchhiker's Guide, The Interpreter, The Life Aquatic, Kingdom of Heaven, Star Wars: Episode 3, XXX, Hitch, Robots, Millions, Fever Pitch, Million Dollar Baby, Kung Fu Hustle.

Had a gaming run Tuesday... lots of fun at that one. We got to take out the Guns of Navaronne! Well, temporarily, anyway. I would have thought having the gun roll down the side of an island would have damaged it in some way to make it unusable, but it sounds like we can expect the guns to be back in operation in a matter of weeks...
Sunday I actually got out to see the Somerville Open Studios! Stopped by
I've been running around frantic lately, trying to keep up socially while spending long hours at work. Sorry to anyone who's talked to me about something and felt like I wasn't really there. I've been trying to overclock my brain again and it still doesn't work.

So that statement was an unsupported comparison of two shows of which I've only seen trace amounts... I do think they picked up viewers when they got Farscape actors on the show, though.
(Stargate: Atlantis is getting Mitch Pileggi & Jewel Staite as guest stars next season, but no Farscape alum that I've heard of.)
As for SG-1:Atlantis.. eh. Some of my housemates like it, but it kinda seriously jumped the shark around episode 5 or 6, in my opinion. Kaylee is probably worth watching the shwo for, but why the link to Farscape?
"We need to collect 5 RTIs so we can assemble them to get the power cell
for the base shields as the alien mothership will arrive in 8 hours
and will obliterate the planet at that point, but the other team
is also going for the same RTIs and there are a few team members we
can't totally trust, plus maybe a few civilians to save."
I've played that game a bunch. ;)
Or was that SG-1?
Enh. Whatever.
Although someone said Jewel Staite (Firefly) will
have some guest appearances on Atlantis, which will
be very spiffy!
