Serenity trailer

Yes, it's awesome.  Yes, I'm on the edge of my seat...  It's so beautiful to see Joss's vision get the attention it deserves...

but... did the trailer feel a little spoilerful to anyone else out there watching?  Or was it just me?

I especially liked the glimpses we got at a few different cityscapes, skyscapes, and... spacescapes. Wow. I love the setting.

Well Joss had warned that it might give away a little more than some might prefer. It didn't bother me though. I certainly don't feel like I know the plot of the movie or anything.

i don't think it's too spoilerful for someone who's seen the show... actually, it almost felt repetitive, but i watched the DVDs and commentaries pretty recently. but for someone who hasn't, perhaps?

You never know. I remeber the trailer to Hot Shots which pissed me off when I saw it because it seemed like a few minutes of nothing but hilarious punch lines, and I was worried that when the movie came out, all the jokes would have been spoiled.

Turns out, the trailer is just a bunch of visual jokes that are basically the same as the opening credits sequence. So you don't care.
