I gotta say, I'm liking the King of Sweden plotline on Casey and Andy.

I had a pretty good weekend; organized my room, put away clean laundry, and I'm starting to get a handle on not playing World of Warcraft in every free minute that isn't social.  And books!  Books!  I need to get back on the leisure reading bandwagon, dammit.

On the other hand, I rewarded myself Sunday night with a run at the Scarlet Monastery with folks, and we did it in one swell foop; three or four hours to finish the whole monastery, only dying a few times.  Nice loot!

Cutting back
One thing which I find helps me keep things in perspective:

It will be there later.

Last night, I was playing Warcraft and watching a movie. I realized about 5-10 minutes into the movie that I was missing a bunch of it, because my attention was divided. I parked myself someplace safe and logged off. The quests would be there when I got back to them.

Best choice I made in a while.

The counterargument is that the people you'd go into an instance might not be there later. To that, I say "The Warcraft world is big enough there will be something to do."

Do you know my friend deyo? Probably not, I'm guessing, but he's the Casey from Casey & Andy (inasmuch as the comic is based on real life, anyway). :)
