meme silliness

Well, I hurt my ankle a little worse than it's been irritated, so no Esplanade for me. Watching the pops on tv instead... Huh. Howitzers. Neat. I do have a soft spot in my heart for the 1812 Overture, from waaaay back. Think I got to see this performed in Ohio when I was like ten... it was either this or Beethoven's ninth. But I know I used to listen to this a long time ago. I still know how it goes though...

Anyway, time to make sure my ankle is elevated. I'm rereading Cordelia's Honor this weekend... I do remember now, it's a really good book, it was only once I got into the Miles Vorkosigan part of the series that I got annoyed. Maybe I won't this time around; we'll have to see.
