Why is U.S. immigration terrorizing British reporters?

So the administration, quite wrongly, wants to extend the definition of "terrorism" to mean "any serious crime", including things like idiot teenager distributing computer viruses and mobsters commiting extortion by arson.

If we want to say that this is a bad wrong thing, then we have to have the discipline not to call it "terrorizing" when immigration rules are unfairly or inappropriately enforced. Indeed the journalists were mistreated and the US ows them and the UK an apology. But they were not "terrorized".

I wouldn't say "terrorized." I would, however, say "intimidated, chilled, and inappropriately treated."

But hey, Shrub & Co. would like the power to do similarly to their own fellow citizens. Why should a British journalist be special? :-b
