the search continues...
Just got the phone call. It's official, my job search continues.
Those chickens, all twenty-four of them? Counted them prematurely; they were, indeed, unhatched.
So now, I look to open source, to find out where I can contribute, and get some background in team coding, something I can point at and definitively say: "I did something useful there; I contributed, and I kicked ass."
The guy said I was talented, and he was right. But it's not just talent you need in this world, it's talent, and some form of determination. Some motivation. Some... discipline. I guess.
So here goes. Reinventing the shabby.
