I don't think this one's a direct parody of a particular Doors song, but one in the style of the Doors. Weird Al does a lot of in-the-style-of songs as well as direct parodies. One of my favorites is the Zappa-style "Genius in France," which happens to feature guitar work by Dweezil Zappa. It's awesome. :)
Yep, as I recalled from some VH1 special talking about Dare To Be Stupid, and as Wikipedia handily recounts: Shortly after the song was released, Yankovic received a letter from Mark Mothersbaugh congratulating him on writing "the perfect Devo song". He has also said that it was "beautiful ... and I hate him for it, basically."
What would be even more fantastic would be the Doors video this is based on. Except that I'm pretty sure, from a fair bit of youtube searching just now, that it doesn't exist.
Which, come to think of it, marks Weird Al as even more of a genius: Hi imagined the perfect Doors video in order to parody it.
I always have this problem of hearing the original in my head and thinking that it's better (I know, not a popular stand in geek circles. but knowing the original isn't popular in geek circles either ;9 ) of course, I love the doors and they are such easy targets!

See "Dare To Be Stupid" for a fantastic Devo cover that is not the cover of any particular Devo song, for example.
