Who knew?

I didn't realize Leo McGarry got his start manning a nuclear missile silo in North Dakota... But there he is, in the first scene of War Games. Oh, hey, and his cohort is Mr. Blonde from Reservoir Dogs.

Also, Ben Sisko's dad got his start as a Starfleet Admiral in Star Trek IV.

Reuse of actors is funny. Well, to me. Today. For some reason.

That's how roommate A got her start. Well, not as an actress :)

Manning a nuclear silo, or as a Starfleet Admiral?

Actually, neither of those sounds like it ought to be your *first* job...

The first one.

It wasn't her _first_ job. Her first job was in satellites, then she was in the nuclear silo.
Ah, the life of a Air Force ROTC'ean

Imagine my surprise when Samwise Gamgee showed up the new director of the Los Angeles Counter Terrorism Unit.

Posted to reuse?
One slightly used actor, free to a good home. Works well with missiles, seeks career in politics...

Star Trek is infamous for reuse of actors. I'm always noticing that someone who became a famous character in a later series appeared as half a dozen minor characters in previous series.

Also, I hadn't noticed that Juno McGuff was the third Shadowcat until yesterday.
