You see the inherent flaws in the suggestion, right? It was meant to be humorous, but no one seems to have gotten even a chuckle out of it.

I initially thought that you might have been joking, but I couldn't find it, and then I wanted to know for myself...

I do wonder if they have any crossword-puzzle support for the NYT subscription. They really should, but the platform is so closed, they probably don't.

So, your joke turned into a tech/tech-policy question in my head, and was lost from there on.

They should totally offer a DDI Kindle subscription, though. :-)

Yeah, there are articles, but they're kind of poop. I mostly only ever got it for the cryptics.

That's exactly why we subscribe, although there are several other puzzle types that I often wind up doing too.

I bought the NYTimes crossword app for iPhone, which lets you download daily new puzzles, and old puzzles back about ten years. :)
