Unforeseen consequences

Anyone else wonder if that Large Hadron Collider ended up opening a miniature black hole after all... but only in our financial markets?

Ha! Good one!

But really, they're just warming the LHC up and calibrating it to make sure it works. They won't be doing the massive collisions that create black holes for about another month.

The RHIC is indirectly responsible for the breast cancer epidemic on LI---leaching water from the radioactive pools on associated work.

I think it created a miniature black hole that got sucked into the centre of the Earth. I feel myself being pulled downward right now! :-)
