Driving to New Jersey

Ok... well...

So we have this weather, see.

And I'm supposed to go to New Jersey after work today, on my way to DC for Winter FantasyThe D&D Experience tomorrow. And I'm looking out at the weather.

Part of me says "woo, adventure!" Part of me says "heck, no!"

This is a microcosm of the human condition. Think I'll start driving.

Wish me luck!

I wouldn't do it. Seriously.

And I *like* dangerous driving.

I hope you went via 95, but I'm sure you'll be fine. Have fun!

Hope you're safe. It seemed like a really dangerous day to be on the roads. (Then again, we drove home just behind the blizzard two years ago in January that dumped three feet around here and two in NYC.) We'd rather hear stories about how bored you were in that motel in CT than about the adventures of the ambulance ride after the highway patrol spotted your car in a ditch. :)

I miss the days when I felt fine about taking my life in my own hands! Have a great trip, I'm sure it will be fun. These days I worry more than I ought to, and I cancelled a dentist appt rather than risk getting stuck in a snowbank with a carload of kids.

A carload of little kids complicates many things, and it's just a dentist's appointment.

Good luck and stay off little side roads.

I was protected most of the way down by the blue shield of the US Interstate Highway System. Until I went off onto the Garden State Parkway, but by then I was far enough south that it wasn't bad.
