Yeah, it was well done. Personally, I was betting she wouldn't get thwapped, because Sholo had actually done most of the things she was clobbering him for, but it was close. From a storyline point of view, the Miko-OOtS conflict did need to be resolved or at least pushed to the back burner so they can get on with the invasion.

Yeah... Not so azure now, are ya, biznatch!

I wonder if Belkar gets a whole strip of gloating, or just a few frames... ;-)

I think they removed her Sapphire-ness, not her Azure-ness. :-)

I don't know D&D, but is Detect Evil a paladin power? If so, it would be the perfect thing for Belkar to taunt her with. "OK, I've decided to put away the lead sheet and let you Detect Evil now."

There is still a Paladin right next to them.

(And close? While mocking the law and saying the end justifies the means?)

I think that Paladin knows better than to judge his own Gods' chosen form of punishment as too lenient ;-)

Yay atonement quests!

I'm still not entirely clear on why the Chinese Zodiac was the symbol (symbols?) of the gods' wrath. :)

Well, it's all about who Miko worships.
