commute in storm

No fewer than five big tree branches downed onto the street, and five emergency vehicles...

You know, back in Wisconsin, when there were "localized strong winds" that uprooted trees in one small area, but left surrounding areas untouched, we called it a tornado.

I think tornados are required to have a certain shape/structure. This wasn't really a narrow swath of destruction like you get from a tornado anyway. It was more one tree here another one 2 or 3 blocks away, etc. Happily no big trees near my house or car.

This was probably something called a microburst, which is different in some way from a tornado, but now we've exhausted my knowledge.

Yeah I noticed street closing all over the place once I started to get near Davis Square. It made getting MIke & Eon quite tricksey.

And that was probably from the transformer fire.
