I want to know why they're doing it (It's just wrong regardless) because the only reasons I can think of just make me so mad!

I'm with svenden. Removing Christopher Robin is sad; adding a girl who gets to play in the Hundred Acre Wood doesn't bother me (though that every time they refer to her, they call her a "tomboyish girl" makes me think that they're all strange creepy robots).

Actually, no, I can think of one reason to be doing it: because the real-life Christopher Robin hated being the main character. Hated being famous, and hated that he felt his father had exploited him and his childhood dreams. But he died in 1996, so he can't really mind any more.

I am kind of worried by the fact that the photo in the article shows the girl wearing a bike helmet.

A bike helmet is, in no way, shape, or form, timeless.

Hmm. Is it that bicycles are not timeless? Or that when riding timeless bicycles, one shouldn't wear a helmet? :)
