songs to yell next time

The next time a music group plays the "stump the band" game with random shouted requests, the following is the list of songs I should choose from:

Mac the Knife
Dead Man's Party
Alison
Say You, Say Me
Jockey Full of Bourbon

not

Yoda

In other news, I picked up thatwesguy's mouthdrumming instructional DVD. Now maybe I can learn to do more than the first couple bars of "25 or 6 to 4" or "Smoke on the Water".

Though now that I think of it those tricks are a little more like singing and spitting at the same time, than like mouthdrumming. Hmm.

If they swing Mac the Knife on a random audience request, they would deserve a giant cookie.

other songs
For any band, I've always wanted to request The Elements.

Because I'm a moron, I have still not seen THJ in concert; I don't know if it'd be hilarious or stupid to request "title of the song" from those guys.

Similarly, I wonder how an a cappella group would do something instrumental, like, say, theme from blade runner. Less funny but could be interesting to hear would be something like Queen's "The Show Must Go On". But yeah, dead man's party, that's a great idea. :)

I clearly need to get back to work. And get more coffee.
